Bought another coin lot. What do you think of the value?

These are minimal value unidentified Roman coins slabbed for sale to people who do not collect ancients. This one is a falling horseman most likely of Constantius II. In this condition, cash value of the coin is under $1. The slab companies that do not identify individual coins but mark them all something like Constantine Era are a joke and definitely detrimental to the hobby. The only value is cheating people out of their money by suggesting they are getting something rare and valuable.

It does appear to be Falling Horseman type, but the image is too blurry to make out the legends on the obverse, which would indicate the emperor. Can you give us high-resolution pics?

I have to take a look when I get home. I bought a 2 lots of 10 for $30 each on eBay. What is the difference if they are the falling horseman? More $
?or should I just try to sell them on eBay?

Falling horsemen are the most common reverse types among late Roman bronzes. That in itself would not add any premium to the coin. As Doug stated, it's probably the most common emperor as well: Constantius II. But without clearer images it's impossible to say.

Go to eBay and search for 'Constantine slab'. That will show three sales of sets of ten of these items. Below that are some individuals for sale with what appears to be 1 bid at $10 (but I am not a believer in those being on the up and up).

Thanks Doug. I bought 2 sets, I will probably list one on eBay and keep the rest. I am a newbie, so I ordered myself a book and hope to get started collecting.

I hope I remember not to try to help in the future. I feel like an accomplice.
