1895 indian head penny

    Got it off someone at work for $1 it has full liberty hard to see on here sorry

    Looks like it has been very harshly cleaned. (A little Brass-O maybe?) That's a shame.

    I agree that it definitely looks cleaned...the color and texture give that away.

    If I knew how to use my wife's pro camera I could take some good pictures for you all my phone does crappy looks nicer in person

    crap coins are a waste of money !

    It will be $1 fifty years from now, buy a lower grade one like G-4 that isn't scrubbed instead for a couple of dollars.

    Don't buy Schlock coins, they inhale !

    What ever the treatment to it, it is a wonder, and still a relatively good deal. If not for financial purpose, at least for sentimental purpose. Way to go! 1895 Indian head cent will have 136 milled teeth on its inner hub. Any Indian head cent type 2 will be 136 teeth. from the looks, its authentic.

    I asked the guy I got it if he scrubbed it with brass-o and he said no he let it soak in extremely hot water with baking soda for a couple days

    I think he forgot the aluminum foil if he was trying electrolysis.
