Hello all, joined this forum just to ask for some help with this coin. I dont collect coins nor have a wish to do so i'm afraid, i collect whiskey! I found this coin many years ago whilst walking my dogs along with a load of other coins, mainly old UK pennies, some from france and some from canada, the coins were all together in a small cloth bag. This is the only coin that has interested me though, i keep it in my wallet for some reason, basically its the only cash i carry on me even though its not legal tender! The coin has never been cleaned, not by myself anyway. Would just like to know where this coin originated and if its worth anything? I dont intend on selling it, it will just stay in my wallet. Any advice would be much appreciated, many thanks, David
