I'll start the post with my finds from today. 2 hours on a farmsted tore down 8 years ago but originally built in 1871. These were my finds today. Will definately go back soon. Only covered 20% of the property so far.
nice, but I can't believe that you pulled an unc wheatie from the ground like that. Also, the could of steelies that I ahve dug were totally corroded. Did you find these in a jar?
I got a metal detector this year and am having a blast here are my best two finds so far.... 1864 2 Cent piece...... Silver watch fob.....

What are you guys or gals, swinging? I just have an Ace 250 but would like to upgrade to an AT Pro at some point.
Gotta start somewhere. I just wish the 150 and 250 weren't yellow. I actually painted the top battery cover black. :yes: And hey, that 150 found you that 2 cent piece didn't it? I still haven't found anything in the 1800's.
Definitely looks 1930s or 1940s vintage - a neat little find that could possibly be worth more than your coin finds.
