The quarter looks like it was made on a nickel...the edges of the quarter are as thick as a nickel

I can't upload a picture from my iPhone. But the quarter image is normal it's has the same image as any other quarter but the ridge is thicker than the middle of the coin

we cannot tell you what it's worth until we can see a photo. Many members use their Iphones to upload photos. Could just be that you need to adjust the sizing down to be able to upload. Good luck with that. Hope to see an image soon. Welcome to cointalk! :)

It's either been spooned, or a dryer coin. Not an error.

how does the reeding look on its edge? I'm thinking its been worn smooth by one method or another...

incidentally, You should weigh it on a digital scale that goes down to .XX grams. A normal quarter should weigh 5.67g, give or take about .03g either way as tolerated by the mint.

Please weigh it on an accurate digital scale with fineness measured to the .XX grams, and take a pic of the edge for us. Thanks!

Looks like someone was making it into a ring but realized it was uneven.

Yep... no value other than face. Dryers effect coins in different ways, spooning intially flattens just the rim (which a dryer can do also).

Don't be too hasty now. I had a reason for asking the weight. :) I was going to elaborate *if* the OP could indulge me.....
