Yes, only $5 though. Well worth it! Like walking into a museum where everything is for sale! I had a great show, lots of good coins and some antiquities. Very excited!
I would prefer a show with a $5 admission if only to reduce the crowd of people not interested enough to pay the $5 but I do believe it is bad for the hobby since you lose to chance of converting someone who did not really know they were interested but happened to be in the building to see another event. The fact remains that many dealers attend these shows mostly to buy/trade with other dealers so the pressure to bring low end stock and cater to bargain hunters is not very strong. Buying nice ancient coins is harder than selling nice ones.
