I just lost track. I probably have some 900+ on omnicoin but that's not even half of what I have! You can't just photograph them all!
Only around 100 for me, plus or minus a few. I collected as a kid, gave it up, and then came back to it less than two years ago. I've actually been getting rid of most of my collection, as I have too many coins worth only a buck or two a-piece, and I'm rebuilding it back up with higher-priced coins. The coins I REALLY care about (my U.S. type set) only number less than 30 right now, but that's fine by me. I don't know if I could handle 1000's of coins, but maybe one day I'll get there...
I'm not really sure. Too many. Over the past year I've reduced the number by half. Over the next year, if I'm lucky, I'll reduce it by half again. The goal is to keep reducing by half until the total gets to about 100. That seems like enough. If the goal is to have fewer coins, does that still count as 'collecting?'
I'd guess about 500 to 700. I have only been buying coins directly from the mint so far since I haven't had time to learn enough to judge value of other coins. Started about 3 months ago. yungin in numismatics.
Probably in the hundreds of thousands. Started collecting when the 1943 Lincoln Cents first came out.
