Hi folks. Time for a die variety.
This is coppercoins.com 1989P-1DO-002, a class VI (extra thickness) doubled die that shows on the date and lightly in "TRUST". This coin was found in circulation. Enjoy!

Man it's so subtle. I would easily overlook something like this.

I would as well, but I've got a young pair of eyes and set aside pretty much anything that looks like it could be a doubled die. ;) I understand a lot of folks go for the big ticket items...I am more of a discoverer than a cherrypicker.

To these old eyes it looks normal . Except where there's a slight elongation at the top left of the loops . Or is it on the inside of the loops ? Thanks for sharing though , as I have trouble unless it's really offset like the '55 and '72 cents .
