1838 large cent

Old cleaning w/Obv field damage...all in all, nice coin at a fair price...congrats!

I sense a little verdigris in the Obverse hair curls. You may want to give it a dose of Verdi-Care™ once it arrives.

 

I saw a little crud there too. but like you said the price was not too bad.

 

nobody gave a guess on what they thought the coin was worth. Paid too much? about right? or did I get a bargain?
