what is the most expensive coin you have my coin is a 1689 half crown (vf) and a goerge the 3rd sixpence unc theres mine
I have alot of coins, but most of them are under $100 in value. My most valuable one is probably my 1995 proof silver eagle. Worth a couple hundred bucks.
1895-O Morgan Dollar in XF would be the most expensive coin I have, second (if you want to count sets) would probably be the 1999 Silver Proof Set. Though I certainly paid more for the Morgan than the proof set!
I really don't know---I guess it would be my VF20 1909-S VDB...but I have coins that IMHO are rarer than the S VDB but just don't cost as much....such as a 1950 PF66 Franklin--or a 1909-S IHC in VF.... Speedy
I don't have the most valuable collection out there, but I do have several coins in the $75-$100 range. My most valuable pieces are my 1854 Gold One Dollar in VF. Next to that is probably my 1893-CC Morgan Dollar which is VG/F. I believe I paid more for my 1893-CC Morgan than any other coin in my collection, the 1854 Gold was a gift from my grandmother.
I'd say my 1999- Silver Proof Set.....Although I do have 6 rolls of Mercs and 6 rolls of silver rosies worth around 500...
For single coins, I have a 1986 one pound troy silver eagle, (this may be considered a /medal). Wife got it for about 85 bucks, and it's worth around 150 now. It came in a cheap plastic cover that ripped and it fell out and I wrapped it in saran wrap, now it has nice rainbow toning all around it. I'll try to get a pic if I can locate it in the mess I call my collection.
Hello, For modern, I guess it would be my 1980 and 1981 Krugerrands For ancient, I guess I would prefer to keep it a secret Cucumbor
Well, the most I have paid for a coin is around NZ$200.It was for my Scots 1692 40 Shillings of King William II of Scotland/III of England & Queen Mary II of England & Scotland (or William & Mary). Aidan.
