1923 Peace Dollar - Obverse Lamination Error

    Just picked this up in a "junk silver" purchase off of Craigslist. Note both the lamination issue and the fine line (die issue?) arcing in Lady Liberty's head (visible in the second picture). My apologies in advance for the poor image quality. Opinions/thoughts/wisdom welcome ;)

    To me, it looks like someone used it as a screw driver back in the old days.

    My initial thought, but the reverse shows no marks of any kind in that area. To me, that rules out this hypothesis.

    I've taken these out of bezels before and it doesn't really have the appearance of having been in one. So you don't think it looks like a lamination error?
