Found a real low mintage coin tonight!

So I'm finally going through some of my world coins and looking them up.

I apologize for the poor photo quality my camera battery is dead so I had to use my phone.




This 5 Centesismos from Panama is dated 1932 and has a mintage of only 332,000.

I would consider mine a "Fine" as far as grade. With a Value of $5.00

mintage 200,000 most balboa's have low mintages it seems

Anyone who collects early half cents knows that mintage isn't everything. Cool find though.:thumb:

Ummm, speakin' of low ... here are a couple of classics

1947 Canadian 50 Cent Piece - Maple Leaf Straight 7
=> a mere "38,433" coins were minted






1948 Canadian 50 Cent Piece
=> a mere "37,784" coins were minted (*oh my*)

.... okay fine, that's a total lie (they're actually my late Father-in-law's coins) .... ummm, but no, there were no mysterious circumstances around his death ...
