If that's a regular customer, I'd ask them if they had any more and if they'd like to sell them.

Cool a pharmacist. Exactly what I'm going to school for.

That's cool you found those. Interesting to see people spending those.

How about making them about 25% of the size they are now?....we guys still on dial up can't view them and even when one comes up I would say the photos are too large to give a good grade.

On the 54 Halves---I would say VG...
On the 53 Half I would say F.
On the 50 Half I would say G/VG
On the 49 halves I would say VG....

    Nice finds for face value!!!

That 1953 is a D ad seems to still have a lot of Bell and Facial tone intact.
The 1954 is an S and seems to have good detail.

What a moron (the customer), I mean seriously... argh, what a dumb thing to do. Congratulations on the coins, Franklins ARE my personal favorite of all coins. They seem to get $5/coin minimum pretty easily now.

I agree but they are still worn down to a low grade IMHO---the 53 is the nices---as andrgo said dealers are selling them for close to $5 at some places---I think my dealer still has them around $4.50 but haven't looked in the last few weeks.

Why do you say that? I thought that would be a fun, lucrative career.

I'm happy to have my first Columbian. Its a nicer coin than I though, having it in the hand to look at.

On the other issue you contacted me on the other day, email me directly and I'll talk to you about it. I think those systems can do more for you than you appreciate.

Sadly, it may not be the case , as maybe it was the only money some poor soul had to get their prescription, otherwise I'd agree.
Nice finds at face though, mrbrklyn.
