Finally got my 1877 Indian back from PCGS (for those who read about it)

Everybody at the coin shop laughed when I bought the coin, but I just can't afford expensive coins raising three kids. Well, I couldn't even SEE the date on the coin... but was "assured" that it was an 1877 Indian. Despite my dealers resistance to a submission, I did it anyway... just for fun. He is a very fair coin dealer with submission pricing - I'm assuming as long as one doesn't take advantage of him.

Anyway - here is what came back! Coin2270(1).jpg Coin2270(2).jpg I was so proud!! :) (I know it's nothing for the big timers, but I had a lot of fun with it)

Because the coin was a ugly duckling I guess... One guy even told me to put it in my shoe to "shine it up" ;)

It was kinda left for dead in a sense, but now can be part of a nice collection!

What did you pay for it? Does anyone know if it's worth at least a couple hundred bucks now that it's in a PCGS holder?
