    $350k? Pipe dream.

He'd probably be better off breaking it down into parts (even if still large)

Also, looks like a lot of it was obtained as junk silver.

The question is: What are the grades for each individual coin? From what I can see, for the most part, they look to be mostly average circulated, and if they are, then they're worth nowhere near as much as he's charging for them. Notice that he gives a whole list of old coin types by date and mint mark, but offers nothing in terms of grading for any of them. For example: Is the 1798 large cent an ms-60 or an ag-03. He offers nothing. That's usually a warning sign. He simply says "Nothing new, all old stuff." As if age has anything to do with value.

It's worth the cost of the plane ticket to go and look for yourself, if you are seriously interested. In fact, as the buyer, I would insist that I can.

    Not worth 350k, but...

I'm drooling over those OBW Franklin and Kennedy Rolls with Rainbow EOR toners showing...and the countless number of rainbow toned items in all those old paper slips...

The big 1000 lbs world silver lot is impressive... I recognized a few coins in there that are most definitely better than melt!!!

Well, "melt" just lost close to 10% today. :(

He knows enough about coins to make a list of "good" coins. That price is definitely not a deal.

Yep... $23 something an ounce now. Makes me glad I sold all my junk silver back in December. I hated to part with hundreds of low grade walkers, but selling them on eBay at nineteen bucks a pop takes the sting out of it now.

Oh, wait, we've seen this guy before.

I love gambling on odd lots, but not from somebody who's in the business of marketing them, and not to a six-figure (or even a five-figure) stake. The odds that they're worth more than what he's asking seem pretty small.

One thing that comes to mind when looking at all the photos is I really do need to leave some documentation on my collection for my family because I can see my pile growing to that size by the time I tip over, and I'd hate to see them turn the whole thing over to some guy to flip on FeeBay.
