This rule only applies on eBay.com, you can list Cuban coins from any era on any of the other eBay sites.
I`ve just advised someone who was not allowed to list a US medal collection because it had a a Purple Heart amongst the collection, he instead managed to list it on eBay.uk with no restrictions.
Its similar to me not being allowed to list WWI & WWII bayonets on eBay.uk because knives are banned as deadly weapons, I just list them on eBay.com

eBay.com might be following the rules of the USPS site and the restrictions on exporting certain goods overseas.
Apparently it is not allowed to send typewriter ribbons to Itally and horror comics to the UK, there are too many to mention but take a look, its not been updated since the stoneage, its a hoot.

I gotta blame it on Beyonce' and JayZ! :D:D Incidentally I am not a fan of Fox News but it seems like alot of Republicans really got their panties in a bunch over this one so I decided to use their link. Personally I think their idiots for attacking anything to do with Beyonce' but whatta ya' gonna do?

The US Mint produced a total of 59 coin issues for Cuba from 1915 until 1960.

The US-friendly Batista regime, which had come into power in a coup in 1952, was itself overthrown in 1959 by Fidel Castro. Relations started to become particularly strained after the disastrous Bay of Pigs invasion in 1961, which was followed by the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. Since then, Cuban policy has essentially been dictated by Cuban exiles in Florida. It makes no sense to have sanctions still in place against Cuba, while we have no problems dealing with China.

Collector1966, that is so true. China is ruled by the COMMUNIST PARTY OF CHINA, but Chile cannot import Cuban rum through US retail stores?

We know a lot more about Cuban coins than eBay does. They're not making any distinctions. Probably anything with the word "Cuba" is banned.
