The other night a friend of mine came over and I helped go threw a bunch of coins his brother left him after his death. There are a couple of hundered of both morgans & peace dollars,my question is this. After doing some research (no i dont believe everything I read) are the coins (1921-D)morgans worth more as a collector coin or just the spot price of silver? My friend will be selling off some of these coins & I would like to see him get the most money he can for these. Most of the coins are in good w/some being in very good shape.I do not have any history dealing w/these coins as all my silver is in the form of ASEs. I am not sure what the silver content of one coin is and seeing that (for my help) he gave me 10 of each coin I am just wondering about this infomation myself, along w/helping him. Any feed back would be welcome,if you need more info to give me a better answer please let me know.....thanks...Jay

Being a fairly common coin in good/very good shape yes they are worth just a bit over spot.

Coinflation.com can help you understand what the melt value for these coins are. As far as these coins as collectibles, without pictures there's no way tell. When you say "good/very good" do you mean on the grading scale? If that's the case, then what KoinJester said.
