1960-D Lincoln cent, d/d extra thickness.

    Trying to figure this one out. It is confusing. Is it a large or small date ? Is the mintmark a D/D ? Whats with the thick appearance. Can use some guidance here ! Regards, Mike L.

    This is a small date 1960D and the thickness you are seeing looks like heavy circulation. Not seeing an RPM.
    Keep up the hunt!

    There are a ton of RPM's for 1960 so keep looking at them. Some are far more obvious than others but they are pretty common to find.

    This small date also appears to have been whizzed, which would also tend to flatten out the numbers of the date.

    It's late, and eyes' are tired. It looks as if the cent is reeded. Can you get a side view or let us know if it is reeded.

    That's just the surface of the table in photo #2. I don't see any reeding on this one.
