    Are you asking or telling?
Based on that image, I can't say if it was cleaned or not.

I have 14 days to return it and I'm thinking about it

Ok, I agree it looks cleaner or over dipped. There appears to be more of a shine than any luster.

If in you're gut you believe it's cleaned, then return it. Follow you're instincts and get your money back.

Yeah, it looks cleaned. It looks like somebody just wiped it with a silverware cleaner. I tried that once and got roughly the same effect.

It is still a very nice looking coin and you might consider keeping it if you got a good price.

I've heard the word "dreck" numerous times today. Is this PeeWee's playhouse secret word of the day?

I don't understand the connection between "dreck" and devoid of any luster? It doesn't seem like a good acronym:confused:

    No acronym. From Dictionary.com:

    dreck
    [drek] Show IPA

    noun Slang.
    1.
    excrement; dung.

    2.
    worthless trash; junk.

    Also, drek.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Origin:
1920–25; < Yiddish drek; cognate with German Dreck filth; compare Old English threax, Old Norse threkkr excrement
