Today i lost i very important person in my life a Uncle, a friend, but most the person who inspired me in this hobby. He was i wide collector of medals, tokens, BU rolls, US type coins, to Canadian, etc. before he passed i had the chance to recieve some of his belongings BU rolls of nickels and cents mostly in the 50s and 60s and also some coins that caught my eye i knew he liked. Out of all of my time i have spent with him that i learned was to buy what i liked not just the price but what really caught my eye, he only spent a few dollars on each of his items and now today they have tripled in price. The best item he had was a 1953 through 1964 PL Canadian sets in a capital holder with bulls eye toning. If there is only something i could do in his memory he would of loved it please give me your suggestions and opinons.
Sorry for your loss. Maybe there is someone else in your family younger than you that you can start teaching about coins who will be the next generation of collector in your family. You can teach that person about how your Uncle collected and what to look for.
i could that but it will have to be awhile my cuzins and nephews are too young maybe something diffrent like a coin made in his memory?
