Hi! I find that many times, after a while in an Air-tite, the coin begins rattling a bit. It appears that the foam gives slightly to the coin. On one or two coins of mine, I got the holder one size smaller as they didn't carry the exact size. It's always fit with a bit of shoving, and never gets loose later. Is there any problem with doing this as a rule, in terms of long term damage to the coin, etc? Thanks! Ben
His question was if using slightly undersized ring inserts was a problem. That is the question I answered.
That depends on what you are shoving. The correct way to do it is to place the coin in the bottom half of the holder, and then push the ring insert down over the coin. That way you don't ever touch the face of the coin.
