    Hey guys,

I know there probably is a thread or two here about coin collecting and numismatic apps, but most of them are from a few years ago. I just wanted to see what apps (both Apple and Android) people use to suit their numismatic needs (collections, guides, etc).

If this is in the wrong place, please move accordingly.

    Thanks in advance

I'm sure there are apps out there, but for my purposes I use (on Android devices, not an iFan) the Quick Office app for want lists. The internet access on these mobile devices are great, and I use that more than anything else, checking websites such as Kitco and Numismedia. Don't really need anything else on my phone or tablet.

NGC's "Coin Details" app is pretty nifty

Just released late last year, I believe :)

I bought Coinbook Pro for a couple bucks a month or so ago. It's pretty decent. It has coin prices, a solver and gold melt value calcator and an appraisal feature where you can take a pic of the coin and someone will appraise it. The app comes with 10 appraisals for free; you can buy more.

I tend to use the PCGS photograde app, coinbook pro, kitco, and coinflation pretty religiously. I was just creating this topic for my own interests and for a potential resources topic thread since technology seems to rule all, these days.

I primarily use iBooks to browse PDF versions of the Krause manuals...as well as PCGS photograde.

I use Bento on my iMac, iPhone, & iPad. Bento is basically Filemaker Pro light. Its a user friendly database creation application. So I used it to create a database to store my coin collection info. I also have the ANA app on my iPad and have used iBooks to read coin collecting books on my iPad.

This thread is 2 1/2 years old - not likely you'll get a response to your question.
