It is a large date 70-S and common. Use the search function box in the blue menu bar above to find other threads on large vs. small date cents.

I think you mean "not a small date"

Nice large date. It is wort one cent. That is unless you decide to melt it and risk the jail time and a nice fee to get 2.47 cents.

Being a mod on an unrelated forum, we can easily check IP addresses. Can the mods here do that? I'm wondering if extremely(not)rare has the same IP address as that "other" person that flooded us with useless posts with lousy pictures?

    Not a small date.

I see irisheyes has created a new user account.

A little tiffy because you were shut down for consistently plagiarizing copyrighted material?

I found a 1970-s double die that you can only see under magnification. I want you all to tell me if it is a Mechanical double die. Here are all of the photoes of the numbers or letters that have been doubled. There are more but I could only post 5 photoes

The term is not "mechanical double die". It is machine doubling (also called mechanical doubling or strike doubling), and your coin is not a doubled die. Sorry!

But it is made of copper, which has a melt value of around 2.3 cents.
