Forgot about this lovely note. My Father-in-law carried this around in his wallet for years and years.

Not so bad as this example of WWI era German currency, which to my eye is utterly ponderous and totally lacking in aesthetic merit....
Besides being well worn, this note leaves me cold from the standpoint of its design, which is too rigidly symetrical. The ink colors chosen are pretty putrid, too.
Here is mine, it's actually my favorite piece of my currency collection. It's a 1902 $10PB National Currency Note from my home town of Eugene, OR. It's one of only 6 examples known.
One last posting on this topic from me. I received this in change perhaps a dozen years ago. Besides being rather crumpled, its appearance is impaired in another significant respect. I've wondered why it didn't get pulled out of circulation much sooner.
No offense, but those are ugly! Lol I've only got 4 paper notes I consider part of my collection, I wish they were ugly enough to share in this thread :/
