Ecu's are not my forte and I got this as a gift. Any idea on the grade and value of this so I can repay with a similarly priced gift? Thanks guys.
Nice coin! I would grade at very good on international standards - might push it to almost Fine on a good day! ("Beau" on French grading.) My 2001 edition of Krause gives it USD 25 - allowing for inflation maybe 35 to 40 now? Just my opinion - I do not handle many French coins and have always found them very difficult to sell.
