HI guys,


I thought this would be a fun question. Without saying what type or kind of you coins you have. How many or about how many coins do you have in you coin collections. DON'T SAY WHAT KIND. This is the Internet after all. Just how many. Dosnt matter how many pennys or if there from another country or if there silver and gold. Also how many years have you been collecting coins.

Many thousands, for sure.

400+ not counting doubles.

From the first time I paid for a coin, I have been collecting since 2005.

Many thousands, accumulated since the mid-1950s.

 

OK. if we're just talking "coins", I'll guess 10,000.

Of course, "coins" are only a part of my collection.

 

I wonder how many I'll get in the end.

The price of the coins I am buying is climbing ever higher, so the ammount I purchace is getting lower.

But as is the saying, one £300 coin is better than 30 £10 coins.

 

Around 5,000 + started 1970.

 

I don't think I could even give an estimate.One day I'll try but not right now.Probably 800-1000 ancient to renaissance era coins,every proof and mint set since 1954,almost complete Lincolns and Mercurys,complete Roosies,JFK's,Jeff's,Sac's,Silver dollars from every year plus a few,euro set,ASE's,statehood quarters,complete Philly year sets 1934-1954 and dozens of US commems,US non-gold (for the most part) type set with extras,brown & blue Ikes,all the westward journey nickel rolls,and numerous rolls of spare wheaties and mercs.That plus a couple of hundred 16th-20th century foreign coins of interest.I dunno but 5,000+ seem like a good ballpark figure?

Im been collecting off and on from around 86.
Id say I have about 10 or 15,000 thats not inculding a 5 gallion water bottle filled with pocket change.

 

I don't even know how to begin to guess. Perhaps 1,000. I've been collecting for about 14 years, I think.

 

506 is what I have inventoried so far, with somewhere around that many to go.

I tell you but have to kill you. So not to know.

 

I probably have several thousand, including the loose ones kept in a jar. Been collecting about 15 years.

 

5000-6000 cataloged in my 'collection'.
Thrice that in my hoard.
