I was told this cent has a lamination starting with the first "U" in "UNUM" going across the "E" in one and T in cent. The coin was a bonus thrown in a lot that was marked as a "die crack error". What is this worth?

It's a lamination error, but too minor to be of any significance to this coin. You might get a buck out of it.

I have been trying to figure this one out. It came as a bonus along with an AU war nickel with a lot of Indian heads I bought.

Looks like grime at first glance...

But I see something up near 'U' that could be more.

Yes there is grime on it. Maybe if I soak it in distilled water the lamination would be more apparent?

    Not worth the time, IMO.

Grime or no grime, the lamination doesn't add value to the coin. Some actually feel it's a turn-off and consider it to be more of a "flaw" than an "error".

Yeh, not worth my time really and don't really care about errors much. I have no clue why the 2x2 of this penny was marked with a price of $10. The AU war nickel included in the lot was better in my opinion. Maybe the seller felt he should add some silver but the Indian heads were fine just by themselves. The fact he just threw in this wheat for free maybe tells you it wasn't really worth that much. Maybe he tried to sell it before?
