    Could be some metal displacement from a hit, but I know absolutely nothing about Canadian coins, so I will wait for the experts.

    Yes, i think that too. A look laminated at left... maybe this metal form an arch under N... but i'm not sure. For me, it is an interesting coin :)

    According to you, is this can be post mint damage (PMD)?

    I don't think that but some expert can have another idea.
