Just curious as to what kind of error is the Indian Head Penny? IndianHead1905errorobverse.jpg
(I can't seem to find anything that resembles this)

and also, About how much would you say a 2007 Montana Quarter would be worth with the reverse clad missing? 2007MontanaStateCladerror.jpg 2007MontanaStateCladerrorRev.jpg
(I'm actually trying to sell this one now and I have a feeling I'm shortchanging myself so I thought I'd ask)

    Thanks

The IHC is not an error. It is damaged.

If your State Quarter does indeed have a missing clad layer it will be highly collectible and will have a decent value depending on condition. You should weigh your coin and compare it to the design weight.

Fred Weinberg has a 2005-P CA SQ missing the reverse clad layer graded by PCGS MS64 and he's asking $650 for it. With yours being uncertified, it would probably go for a lot less, but there is no telling what bidiots may be lurking on FleaBay. List it with a 99c start and let the bidding take it wherever it goes.

Note: If your Montana is missing the clad layer, you need to put it into a holder (2x2, flip or AirTite) for protection.

Nice coins, I know by seeing them they're rare but I'm just starting my hobby of coins so I'm learning.

Hey I'm new at this but I found a weird quarter, help idk if its legit.

image.jpg image.jpg 1995 P quarter with a missing 9 on date, the date is like this 1_95. Idk if doesn't look like grease or wear and tare. It's so perfectly empty where the 9 should be. Idk I'll put a picture for you guys to see and let me go if it's a mistake/misprint or just worn down. Thank you guys, again I'm new at this.

    Welcome to the neighborhood, David!

It looks like it is the result of a grease-filled die.

Since you're new, I should tell you that whenever you have a question about a coin, it is best to start a new thread. "Piggybacking" (some people prefer to call it highjacking) on another person's thread won't be seen by as many people and would limit the responses.

Oh okay, yeah that makes sense. Sorry about that, I didn't mean to mess up your posting. Well good news is that I found out to make my own one and I did :). Thx friend. Hey sorry I have a question, I want to buy a coin at a local coin collectors and I was wondering what's the best starter coin? I'd first prefer yellow Gold or Silver. Both fully made outbid the precious metals. Something in the 35-75 dollar price. Do you know a good coin I can get to start of great. Thank you for your time and it's cool if you're busy and can't answer my question. Godbless

You just hijacked this thread again. You should start a new thread for your questions rather than hijacking another person's thread.

At this point, I don't think it is all that serious since the OP pretty much got the answers he/she needed. I cut David some slack because he is new. You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar, and we surely don't want to deter a newcomer from ever posting again over such a trivial matter. This happens all the time, so it's no big deal.
