I found this Lincoln cent in a roll, part of Lincoln's beard is missing and part of the ear on the right side by the beard is affected. There is lines that go across the beard area but the lines sweep across the whole coin. I am hoping someone can tell me any information about this. Thanks!
Tonight I'm also doing some roll searching and am seeing the same thing that micro is showing, but I'm also seeing it on selected 2007, 2007d, 2012 and 2012d coins. I'm thinking that worn dies or greasey dies are involved because I'm seeing it over different dates and mints.
