You could use the feedback score next to the coded buyer initials to see if it matches up with each-others profiles' feedback scores. Then you would know if it was your buddy bidding on it.
Don't get me wrong...the idea is good but the question is how? just a personal experience from 1 days ago...I spotted a quarter I wanted...posted the link in a thread here and, literally, within 2 minutes someone had posted a bid. This part sounds like I'm down on human nature.... It could be coincidence...I'll never know and don't really care….All is fair in love and war. But we are all here for the same reason. My point is type A's will always wanna be the winners and while some of us may want to share or be fair...other will want to fill a blank spot in the collection. wow... that sounds sooooo negative.

Thoughts on this coin? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1974-S-1-Si...83?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item1e78e26f83 It's interestingly colored. At $24, it might be appealing to me, but not $245... but I'm just curious what you folks think of it - AT/NT, like/dislike... etc.
The coin arrived today and i really like it unfortunately it has a rim ding and ill have to return it, the seller has a no return policy but im sure eBay will side with me since im the buyer will see i guess..... Heres a look anyhow......
Eh, no worries about hating you for not liking the toning. Sad that we have to even preface our opinions with something like that these days. I'm not excited by the toning with that particular pattern, but I'm curious how that would actually look in hand tho... looks like there's no luster and good lighting in the pic, very washed out. Wondering how the blue and gold actually look under proper light and if there's any good luster. I much prefer the rainbow effects I'm seeing on a lot of '74s to be honest.
I don't like that coin it looks very dull, 74s are a dime a dozen making them completely common, be patient and you can find some amazing rainbow toners just waiting to be cherry picked....
My first kryptonitecomics win! Could be AT but for a silver 71S at 13.50 delivered and from kryptonitecomics. It will be worth it!!
Nice toning, but price seems high for a non cameo proof IKE. Go to the IKE groups web site and check to see if you have the micro S 74 IKE. That would add a little value to it and would be worth the purchase. Here is mine.
From Atarian's pictures it doesn't look like a micro S, the upper serif appears to be a straight line, but closer pics of the mm could help. On that note, I picked one up the other day, so they are still out there. Thinking about sending it in to have it DIVA'ed. Here is the info Jaceravone was speaking about: http://www.ikegroup.info/?page_id=862
Anxious to see how this one turns out in hand: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1974-S-Eisenhower-Proof-Dollar-Toned-/230958437857?ViewItem=&clk_rvr_id=467257593800&item=230958437857&autorefresh=true&mfe=sidebar&nma=true&si=do6V2aUTeRFQnOCAwIkx5kWK2mU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Regardless, for the price you can't beat it... today's melt value alone is $8.71, so even with shipping I made out well. And people say you can't find good deals on eBay anymore...
