evasion halfpenny--something very different

    evasion halfpenny---Louis the sixteenth--Britons happy isle-----evasions made circa 1800--forgeries but not a copy of a real coin so that if caught the forger would evade the hangman.more than half the population was illiterate so these would pass,george 111 Louis the sixteenth all the same.many different styles were made,scarce ,interesting coins!!!!different scan0001.jpg scan0003.jpg and collectable---------------show me some more please

    These are super fun coins! Thanks for posting :)

    I have some limited experience in them. I have this one that is a very rare combination - only two known so far (mine and one other) from what I've been told.

    this looks like a mule to me,must be rare,very interesting,and nice condition for issue--well done

    Here is my George Rules 1/2 penny. Heavily circulated which just shows the extent to which these blatant fakes went around, on another note a slightly newer contemporary fake which proves counterfeits werent gone by this time :)
