You must have deep pockets if you got an uncirculated roll of 09s wheaties.

5th week in a row of nothing but solid 2013P nickels. I'm so sick of nickels right now. I've had 1 war in the past month from a few rolls I picked up during my lunch hour.

  7. I've found one silver quarter in circulation. ('64) And oddly enough, not while roll searching. I plucked it out of my friend's cup holder in her car - she had gotten it in change at a drive through! :)

lol sorry. My shorthand typing is getting ever shorter. It should read as 2009s, not 09-S. Not as a mintmark. Sometimes my hands think before my brain does.

Ah I see! I actually have a full roll of Birthplace 2009 s mintmark cents. Cost me a pretty penny (pun intended) but worth it in my opinion.

On my way back from vacation, I stopped by a bank about 30 mins from home. Picked up $470 worth of CWR of Halves. I had found about 2-3 silvers here and there until I came across this roll:
    Image55.jpg

I didn't want to hold my breath but I also knew this could be a good sign. Lo and behold, I opened it and found these:

    Image56.jpg Image57.jpg

After I found these, I went back and bought another $110 in CWR and a $252.50 partial bag of halves from a machine in another bank. Got another 40% and another 90%. Not what I was hoping but I was happy to get more.

Here are my findings from today:
    Image58.jpg

    $470 CWR: 23x40%, 2x90%, 1984-S proof
    $110 CWR: Skunk
    $252.50 Bag of Halves: 1x40%, 1x90%

    Total: 24x40%, 3x90%, 1984-S proof
    Approx. 4.63 ozs of Silver

Great day for me! A friend of mine has an old box of coins that his father left him after he died and I'm gonna check them out tomorrow. Hopefully I can find some goodies and buy them off him. We'll see. Got 2 boxes of nickels to go through tonight.

    2013 Goal: 365 silver coins
    2013: Day #88
    Silvers: 132
    Differential: +44

Seems like some people had alot of luck today...tabor... anyway busy with 6 boxes of nickels today. 7 war, a no date buff and a 1930 buff, and another V nickel 1900, so since last week I have got 3 and my son has picked 1. 1900,1901,1902, and a 1903.

    4 boxes of cents gave me 41 wheats, a 2000 WAM(my 7th), and a 1903 IH (my third). I guess I'll take it :)

I've got another box of nickels to open but I think I'll wait until tomorrow.

You may wonder, "Why would he wait until tomorrow? Is it because he's too tired? Does he hate coin roll hunting?? Does he need to spend more time with his wife? No, No and probably! :)

It's actually because I've already found 28 pieces of silver today (Good Friday) and I'm afraid that I'll find two war nickels in my last box and I don't think 30 pieces of silver on Good Friday is good luck, do you? :)

    Happy hunting!
