    In a bag of coppers. Appears to be brass/bronze...has interesting edge treatment, which I failed to note initially so didn't capture. Thanks...

    NICE COIN 1/4 RUPEE 1943 OR FOUR ANNAS EQUIVALENT .
    Calcutta also produced these coins.Here is a sample from my collection .
