2 Tai-Ching-Ti-Quo Copper Coins; Many differences

    Too many oddities to list, from the obvious size and weight to several characters (probably dates/mints, etc)

    All comments welcome, including whether or not to Acetone-soak 'em.

    First one is from Kwangtung Province dated 1907.

    Second coin is from Szechuan Province dated 1906.

    I personally wouldn't recommand collecting all mint sets if you are a type set maniac as a couple of coins are a bit harder to find than the rest.

    I'd try a distilled water soak first - maybe enough of the crud would come loose without losing the character of the coins.
