I did this a long while back and never shared it. Here is a coin at every 30 degrees, I made a rig I can image at just about any angle down to .05 degrees. This one is a rather ugly coin but I wanted to make sure I could capture the spots and everything. Anyways I welcome feedback!

Very nice, and the way lighting is altered would show toning beautifully! How about a few pics of the setup used?

    That's a cool idea, Todd!

The only suggestion I would offer is that you might try a similar arrangement without the overlap of the coins. The reason I say this is because it would give a complete view of each face so one could readily see how the angle of the coin can alter the appearance of any marks or blemishes that may be on it.

Very cool Todd. I demand you put them all together as an animated gif.

I have had a few request for a gif, will do it at some point.

Interesting concept. I'd love to see what that technique shows with a lustrous "white" coin, and a colorfully toned coin. But I too would prefer to see them not overlapped.

I second this - along with the removing the overlap. That would be really cool.
