Strange activity in Siliver

    The silver chart today is rather odd. I haven't seen it look so strange like this before with it's odd "up and down" activity in such a short time span. The chart is courtesy of www.kitco.com.

    Try and correlate it with the USD currency against other major currencies as well as the oil prices. That should explain at least half of the story.

    Somewhat odd though that with all the ups and downs, that it always drops to exactly 12.90 before it shoots back up.

    No mystery here. Someone has a very large buy order at $12.90.

    I just thought it was odd. I've never seen silver act that way before. I'm sure Cloudsweeper is correct that someone had a "buy" at $12.90, but it just seems kind of strange that it would peak and fall so many times in one hour. It's kept up that kind of activity all morning/afternoon...

    Just thought I'd share it with you folks... :kewl:
