Hi all. This is my first post here in these forums. Been lurking or a few weeks and never found the need to make an account. But after this box I thought I would and share the results. First off I have only been doing this since mid February and now I'm hooked. This is my 13th box of cents and 11th box of nickels(I think). Cents: 6 Canadians 8 wheats (below my average) a bunch of copper kind of weak until I came across these two (will put scans if you want to see) 1991-s proof cent 1887 Indian Head cent both of these finds were a first for me. The IH helped with two of my goals - find an IH and find a coin from the 1800s. Nickels: 1 Canadian 1 2009 24 pre-61 and a war nickel on the end - first for me Thanks for looking InCENTSed
Not the coolest find by a collector's POV, but I unloaded my local deli of $70 worth of pennies and in 2 cent wrappers was all dimes
I had a similar find last year where I bought a 50 cent roll of cents from a bank that contained 58 dimes. My guess is it was done by a child, someone who had severe vision problems or suffered from an illness such as dementia or alzheimers.
