The doubled die for this date will be vigorous. I mean it's as crazy as the 1955 DDO. I'm not seeing the doubling or splitting, but don't give up the search. The last two 1969-s DDO examples were last found in Michigan per Coneca.

The coin you have is not a DDO.. as stated the last 3 actually have been found in Michigan. 2 by one person and 1 by another in very close proximity. The 1 was sold at Heritage a few years ago and has been resold a few times since then.. Angelo has given you a good link to look at for the 69S DDO. There are TONS of 69S with machine doubling out there, but if you get a real one its not a guess as to what you have found. There is no question when the real one is in hand.
