Have old coin size of U.S. Half dollar. Is there a way to post pictures? I'm brand new to this but I have digital pix. Coin is size of a U.S. half dollar. Front says Alakult 1899 and has large raised crest and words: debreczeni ipartestulet. Back has number 1900 and ipar kiallitas with an olive branch or laurel. Any experts out there?

It seems to be a medal for an industry exhibition or show (ipar kiallitas).

Yes you can post pics by using the Manage Attachemnts button. You can also post pics, if they are hosted on a web site, by using the yellow button above the text box when you are making a reply or posting.

So please post your pics and we will be happy to help you ;)

And how did you know that?

I assume it is because like most long time collectors of world numismatics, you have a rack of dictionaries.

(My maternal grandparents were Hungarian, but I could talk to them all day long without ever saying "industrial exhibition" in any language! :p )

I simply used an online automated translator.
