This Monaco 1 Franc & the Puerto Rico 10 Centavos were found in a lot of new World coins at the Naugatuck show. The dealer's batch of coins was offered at 50% off. :smile The Monaco piece ended up costing a few dollars & the Puerto Rico coin ended up costing a little over $10.

These last two came from one of my favorite World coin dealers. The two coins may be common as dirt but IMO they are nice BU examples.

It features Tadeusz Kościuszko. In the US, especially people in and around Philadelphia may know the name. ;)

By the way, I am not so sure about the "silver" part. Basically that was a Cu-Ni circulation coin. Don't know whether there were any silver issues ...

I traded a bunch of Lincolns to my woman for this nicely toned 10 Pfennig. It has a lovely purple irridescent tone that I can't quite capture, and I love the touch of blue on the top. Really really lustrous, as it is a proof. This pic was taken with the coin in a black airtite ring, so that isn't rim damage ;)

I'd say AU-55, I've seen AU-50's that have little luster & look like exf's. AU-58 should be coin with just a bit of cabinet friction. Thus I'll call it a 55. Incidentally am in Panama right now.

A manager at my walmart asked me if i collected coins after looking at my coin pics on facebook. i said yes. he said he had some coins in an old folder and a bag of common world coins that had been in a drawer for about 20 years. i said heck yea lets see what you have. he had maybe 10 I thought were nice the rest very common. the best being a germany 2 mark and another being a Cuba coin error maybe on the wrong blank/planchet ? and another Netherlands error coin he found in a bank roll... it looks cracked. he also had this east India company coin that I have not found in my catalogs or it's a pattern coin or a fake ??? i need help on that 1 here's some pics of it. helllppppp. thanks.
