If I am going to be buying something on ebay, would I be able to pay with a discover card if it shows this little image?

I've never payed for something on ebay any way besides paypal, but I fear that if I hit buy then I won't be able to pay in an acceptable timeframe, as it takes 5 days to transfer from my savings into paypal.

    Thanks :)

I believe if you link your Discover card with your Paypal account then you'd be able to use that to fund your Paypal transaction.

I can't see the symbol that you posted here, but I've paid for things on eBay with a credit card before and have had no problems. I usually contact the seller beforehand and make sure that they do indeed accept credit cards, as well as advise them of my intent to pay with the credit card. So, to be sure, I'd send them a message and just make sure.

You should be able to make it so that if you don't have funds in PayPal, it'll pay via PayPal by deducting directly from your bank account.

You'll be fine. The logo means they accept PayPal, and PayPal accepts those different credit cards. You can pay either way. I'm sure the seller would prefer you pay using your PayPal balance or instant bank transfer, because they'll incur less fees.
