These are relatively common and usually cost between $500-$2000. The most expensive I've ever seen (which actually sold... rollseyes), which also has the highest "cool" factor, is one Heritage sold a few years ago for $5,800 which was a 1999-P 1C struck on a 1980-D dime in MS66. The coins differ by twenty years, a few thousand miles, and nine cents.
Too bad not a complete date 199_ or 2 full dates So it falls to a common doubled denomination but a little high to a flip over one. yours same side of a coin with the images of two top great president Linconl & roosevelt. So it is worth a couple of thousand $, when it is certified.-Circulated too. Congratulation..! Clap Clap Clap...Bravoooo! << FLIP OVER<< < SAME SIDES of two Images of a Man Face. >>>Read Coin Fact Encyclopedia>>Doubled Denomination Error on my earlier post. The Most Expensive if your coin has two complete dates same side of a coin with all visible major details such as 2 LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, UNITED States of America, E plu,VDB, ONE CENT, ONE DIME, FG Initial, etc. Find a Key date too.
I would say PCGS would be your go-to grading service for this error. It certainly looks legit, but I would still like to see better pictures. Keep up the hunt!
$55 for a mint error, but putting it in a slab with a grade will bring you more money than selling it raw for sure. So having it slabbed outweighs the cost of getting it submitted.
