I pulled this out of a box this afternoon. At first I thought it was a blank planchet when it came out of the roll but then noticed a faint outline of Abe. On the reverse the strike is just fine. Is this an example of a grease filled die gone wild, a weak strike, or something else? Is there any value to it? If so, what would you value it at? Thanks for looking!

Looks like a struck through late stage die cap to me. :thumb: Nice find! I personally would say a $20 coin, but who knows what you'll get if you put it on ebay.
    Keep up the hunt!

Very cool. Thanks for the info non cents. You are always solid. So between the 98 and 00 WAMs, the 63 clipped planchet, the 2 1995 DDO's and now this I did pretty good this week :)
