Okay so I had a heated discussion earlier, about whether or not I did what was right, and I decided just to do this:

Tommorow I'll go to there Antique shop and see what they have to sell. Ill tell them exactley what there worth, depending if it is junk silver, or not or some nice Morgans and I'll pay for junk silver and other items about 80 % melt. Ill take this into some nice 2x2s, (which I recently bought) and Then once Silver hits 31+ mabye 32 or 33 dollars Ill cash in for a small but nice profit. Mabye it pays off being honest, who knows. I just think it's the right thing to do. Here's some pictures, and also I went to the new Coin Buyer Shop, and they have an amazing shop with tons of amazing coins, 1000s of coins in red boxes in 2x2s and It is just gorgeous he even has a weekly auction board, and you can offer for his coins on the board. No coins today, just alot of looking and and I did buy some great priced 2x2s, that I desperately needed. I had none, I bought 100 dime/cent holders and 100 quarter holders for 3.00 each. Good price, my other store charges 5 a pack.(of 100) So I just got the 2 dollar bills appraised, just to be sure and he said there worth face. So I decided, ill just spend them tommorow or save them up. Here's the pictures:

I think you will find that being honest with them, can build a mutually beneficial relationship. In the future they may go to you with more good deals. I believe thats how dealers grow their business, by building relationships.

I agree. And as far as im concerned, they have ALOT of coins. tons of them. I might be able to buy from them for a while, and I need good contacts and relationships.

I don't know the background to this thread. Can you link to the previous discussion or was it not on CT?

    I am so confused...

Glad to see you changed your view. Good to see a younger person learn a few things. Even if people were a little harsh on you in your last thread. Sounds like that new shop has a lot of potential.

Good job! You will find that no matter what you do, people talk. Chances are that this benefactor knows other collectors in the area. Now he may give you positive referrals which will open new doors and new buying opportunities for you. Word-of-mouth is worth 1000X the ink in any printed ad a silver/gold buyer puts in the paper.

I should add that the opposite outcome ( the way you were headed ) will get negative referrals for you. People tend to be much more vocal about negative experiences than positive ones, and a bad referral from a well connected person could get you blackballed to the point where your new LCS doesn't want to deal with you. Glad to see you took the high road. :thumb:

Ill be going there in 15 minutes, and I called they already gave me an important contact to the shop the Coin Buyer,(mentioned earlier) and that was a score right there.. He had some much less expensive coin supplies compared to other LCS.

I don't think you can ever go wrong by doing right and being honest. Sometimes doing the right thing is worth more then that extra buck in your pocket.
