What do you do when you finally buy a coin you have been chasing?

I have been chasing a Portuguese Moidore off and on for several years.

What did I do when I finally got one that matched my specifications?

    Took a picture of it.

I just did a bit of research on the Rhino Dichalkoi, and found multiple, with one facing left and three facing right.

Which way does your example face?

Faces left, the rarer type. You found these for sale? What price?

Between $100 and $300, if I remember correctly (my laptop has since ran out of power...)

Rather nice right facing one was for ~$200.

I see two on vcoins, one right one left, for $225-235. That is about what these run. They are small little crude coppers, so I was just too cheap for that. I bought mine, (similar condition to the better one on Vcoins), in a group of 14 trajan dichalkoi for $340. Since dichalkoi always run $25 or more, and many in this group a nice VF coins, I figured I lowered my investment in the rhino significantly.

I have had chances to buy both of my coins I have been searching for, but never at a price I thought was fair. Right now they have two similar Vahran II on Vcoins, one for $1900 and another for $2900. Those are probably in a little better shape though. Still, I am not paying that for them. The one I got I have about $180 in, (which is cheap, I would have paid $350+).

Edit: I do see three others now by doing a different search. Weird, they do not come up searching for "rhinoceros".
