I personally thought it was kinda cute the way they discrib there program..
but using coins this way robs my love for the hobby I think.. but then it might bring others.. who never thought of collecting.. but then theres a a difference be tween being a over priced hoarder than a true numismatist....
Do your research. Read the fine print. Etc... All I see in that ad text is free silver for everyone! I can guarantee you there is some money flowing into their pockets from somewhere. Probably in the form of someone paying more than they should for silver. The promise of free silver every month is probably only if you're getting other people to buy stuff. When you sign your friends up for such things, it can often lead to a spot in the NFL Club. (No Friends Left Club)
As I see it you join and pay $119 and you will get an oz of silver this month If you can get three more people to each pay $119 next month they will get an oz of silver and you will get a free oz. If you don't get three people then you have to pay $119 to get this months oz. The next month for you to get your free oz each of the three people you signed up will have to sign up three people. If they fall short you have to pay another $119 for this months oz. It is basically a pyramid scam. You finding three might not be too hard, them finding nine might not be too hard and even the third level might be doable but very quickly it becomes impossible for your chain to find enough new "participants". and by the fourth month you will probably be having to pay your $119 monthly fee to get your oz of silver. (By about the twelfth month the pyramid would have to contain just about every single person in the United States. Since more than one pyramid would probably be started at the same time it will reach that point several months sooner.) So at best you might get three or four "free" oz of silver out of the deal, but let it fail one time and you will probably be paying $119 per month from then on. And as for the claim that you will be getting MS-70 oz, well he showed slabs from the major services, but you will probably be getting pieces slabbed 70 by basement grading services worth only spot price. So the promoters of this scam will eventually wind up making about $50 profit for each free oz they give out.
I had a friend do that to me once, sign me up for a couple of "programs". Yeah, we aren't friends anymore, and I didn't even get taken. Conder goes over this very well in post #10. Same old, same old. Remember how these pyramid schemes were all of the rage in the late 70's?
