This ring is sterling silver and has a silver mercury dime thats in good shape made into it. I can't tell the year though the ring is in great shape and the coin is mounted flush to the ring and has good workmenship. thanks for the help.

The coin is numismatically worthless because of the damage caused by mounting it. Depending on date, mint and condition before it was put in the ring, it was worth somewhere between it's silver bullion value (about 84¢) and several thousand dollars.

If the mounting is .925 silver, it's worth about 35¢ per gram - total value less than $5 unless it's a very bulky ring..
