http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-New-Lo...439?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4608678bc7 now, i know i wont get any rare ones, but, they look cheap. 2,944 sold, 99.3% positive feed back.
The only coin I intend to clean at the moment is an Aretas IV bronze that's on its way from United Arab Emirates. Who knows, it may arrive by the summer. :rollling: I chose it because what detail it has is well-centered and well-struck, and with the right amount of patient conservation, it could possible yield a beautiful example of the type. But as far as buying some dirty random culls go, forget about it - just not my cup of tea.
Don't look very attractive. I would stay away from these large sellers and look at lots of one to 10 coins on ebay with the picture of the exact coins you will receive. Do that, and be patient, and you can get some really terrific LRB's cheap. Patience is one of the best virtues of a coin buyer. Most coins I have "chased" I ended up overpaying. Every month I look at hundreds and hundreds of ebay auctions. I pick maybe 20 to snipe on, (some weeks none, other 40). Some weeks I buy 5 or 6 Ebay auctions, but many weeks I win nothing. That is ok. There are always other coins for sale, especially common issues. No need to accept crappy condition or high prices.
im not, nor do i plan to get in acient coin collecting, i just want a few to have. maby give to friends. and if iet a rare one, thats good, i guess.
