I bought these about 10 years ago knowing that my ancestors held & spent the very same type of coins. What an amazing thought, these exact coins could have been in the hands of my family over 200 years ago! They don't have much monetary value, but are worth volumes historically to me. Never photo'd them till I saw this thread

I could have sworn I had some shots of Irish coins in my picture files but I can't seem to locate them. I did, however, find this at the local wine merchant today and it followed me home......
